About
Krystal joined the team in March 2026 as the Communications and Event Manager. She is a graduate of Grand Valley State University and a proud Grand Rapids native. Prior to joining GVSU, she served as an Engagement Officer with Bronson Health Foundation, where she led large-scale fundraising and stewardship events. In this role, she cultivated relationships with corporate and individual donors, secured sponsorships, managed event planning and execution, and collaborated on marketing and communications.
With nearly a decade of experience in communications, philanthropy, and event planning, Krystal brings a strong background in relationship building, strategic communications, and event leadership.
