Approach to Therapy: My therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in belonging, dignity, and compassion. I pull from a variety of theoretical orientations including cognitive theory, dialectical behavior therapy and the transtheoretical model (stages of change). My goal is to create a therapeutic environment that fosters transparency, support, and growth to address the identified needs of the client. I begin with developing a trusting client-therapist relationship that becomes the foundation for the therapeutic journey.
