Approach to Therapy: I have a relational-cultural approach to therapy, meaning I think it's important to explore individual concerns while acknowledging how cultural and systemic contexts impact our relationship to ourselves and others. A big part of my work includes getting folks more connected with their authentic selves and with a supportive community. I also utilize a variety of intervention to help individuals stabilize in the here-and-now, such as mindfulness and somatic techniques, values exploration, and DBT skills.

Areas of Clinical Interest:

  • Queer & trans clients
  • Complex/relational trauma
  • Life transitions
  • Identity development

Self-Care:

  • Crocheting
  • Kayaking
  • Reading (including audiobooks!)
  • Cozy gaming

Fun Fact/s:

  • I was a huge band geek in high school & undergrad. I marched winter guard while earning my master's degree and have been teaching year-round for BOA and WGI groups since then!
