Approach to Therapy: I have a relational-cultural approach to therapy, meaning I think it's important to explore individual concerns while acknowledging how cultural and systemic contexts impact our relationship to ourselves and others. A big part of my work includes getting folks more connected with their authentic selves and with a supportive community. I also utilize a variety of intervention to help individuals stabilize in the here-and-now, such as mindfulness and somatic techniques, values exploration, and DBT skills.
