Approach to Therapy: In counseling, I emphasize giving my clients the space to explore parts of themselves that may feel in conflict with each other. I believe that our past relationships and societal forces may lead to us taking on strategies or roles to protect ourselves from what we’ve experienced. In turn, those strategies may also lead us to feel more isolated. I value authenticity, diversity, and self-compassion.  I utilize elements from Relational Cultural Therapy Internal Family Systems, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
