Advising Appointments

All College of Education advising appointments now meet virtually. This can be through phone or an online/remote learning platform, as arranged with your advisor.

  • To schedule an advising appointment, please look up your College of Education faculty advisor in the Faculty Directory, and email them directly to schedule a virtual advising appointment. 
  • See GVSU's Who is my Advisor? page for instructions on identifying your faculty advisor. All students in a College of Education program should have an assigned faculty advisor from the College of Education.

LiveText Discontinued

March 27, 2020

The College of Education is discontinuing our use of LiveText, the college's assessment and e-portfolio system. Grand Valley State University is adopting a central assessment system, BlackboardLEARN, with plans to implement in Fall 2020.

Master's Programs Ranked #1 in State

January 16, 2020

Intelligent.com recently presented Grand Valley State University's College of Education with two awards for Best Master's Programs. The Master of Education in Higher Education and Master of Education in Literacy Studies were ranked #1 for Michigan.
