Finding a job can be challenging, but there are resources out there to help you with your job search. Grand Valley's most useful resource to aid students in finding work is the JOB BOARD where you can search for work-study positions as well as on and off campus part-time jobs. Be a writing consultant at the Writing Center

The writing center is always looking for science majors to be their writing consultant to help fellow science majors with their writing. Most consultants work 8-12 per week and training is provided. See the following webpage for details

Become a tutor

You can become a tutor at the MS3 center. It requires recommendation from your professor. If you are interested in becoming a tutor at a particular subject, please contact the MS3 center and fill out the required forms.
