One of over 38 club sports at GVSU, the teams compete intercollegiately against other bowling programs spread across Club, NCAA, NJCAA, and NAIA levels under the USBC Collegiate umbrella.

• Membership Fees: $300
• Practice Location: Westgate Bowl & Kelly Family Sports Center
• Practice Days/Times: 
  • Monday & Thursday: 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM at Westgate Bowl
  • Wednesday: 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Kelly Family Sports Center

Ryan Lovett

Coach Lovett competed collegiately at Aquinas College, where he developed the skills and experience that continue to shape his coaching today. During his competitive career, he earned numerous bowling accomplishments and found success at the collegiate level.

As a coach, Lovett has served as the GVSU Bowling Head Coach for the past four years. He is passionate about helping bowlers improve their skills, overcome challenges, and reach their goals. Through his knowledge, experience, and dedication to the sport, Coach Lovett strives to make a lasting impact on every athlete he coaches.

Norman Baldwin 

Coach Baldwin competed collegiately at Wichita State University, where he developed the competitive experience that continues to shape his coaching today. Since then, he has earned several individual accomplishments throughout his bowling career and has continued to build his knowledge and experience within the sport.

As a coach, Baldwin has served as a GVSU Bowling Coach for the past two years. He is dedicated to helping bowlers of all skill levels grow and develop both on and off the lanes. He enjoys sharing his experience and knowledge of the game while creating a positive environment for athletes to succeed. Through his passion for bowling and commitment to coaching, Coach Baldwin strives to make a lasting impact on every athlete he coaches.

David Berry

Coach Berry competed collegiately at Saginaw Valley State University, where he developed the competitive experience that continues to shape his coaching today. Since then, he has earned several individual accomplishments throughout his bowling career and has found success in competitive tournament play.

As a coach, Berry has over 12 years of experience working with bowlers of all skill levels. He has coached at both the high school and collegiate levels, earning recognition for his leadership and dedication to the sport. Coach Berry is passionate about helping bowlers improve their skills, build confidence, and reach their goals. Through his experience and commitment to the game, he strives to make a lasting impact on every athlete he coaches.
