About
Hi there! I was born about 20 minutes from Grand Valley, but grew up in Boca Raton, FL, which is on the south east coast. I did my undergrad at The Florida State University in Literature and Religion, and stayed at the university to work in their Center for Leadership and Social Change. I left for a while to spend time ghostwriting and learning about publishing, but came back to higher education and to Michigan in 2016, by working in Housing & Residence Life at GV. I transitioned over to CLAS Advising in 2019 and have had so much fun being here! In my spare time, I love spending time with my family, friends and two silly cats – I love to walk and run, kayak and swim, and enjoy anything that has to do with making something.
