About
Hi Lakers! My name is Nicole Von Oesen and I'm originally from the northwest suburbs of Chicago. I came to Grand Valley for my undergrad in 2018 and graduated in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in German teaching. I then went straight to graduate school at GVSU and graduated in 2024 with my master's in higher education. #Lakerforalifetime.
I started out as an academic advisor for the Seidman College of Business but recently moved into an advisor position within the CLAS advising center! In my free time I love to swim, play golf, watch Netflix documentaries, or listen to an audiobook. Right now, I'm flying through the Dungeon Crawler Carl series (don't knock it till you try it). I also love being a mom to my two cats, Tart and Figgy!
