About
Hello! I am excited to be one of your CLAS Advisors here at Grand Valley after working in a variety of areas and places within Higher Education including Residence Life, Career Counseling, Student Success and Academic Standards. The college experience can be a lot to figure out, and I’m excited to come alongside students making it their own! While originally from Ann Arbor, I have also more recently lived in Wisconsin, St. Louis, MO, and most recently Charleston, SC. I have a BA in Business Communication and a M.Ed. in Professional Counseling. When not at work you can find me with my husband and my two young sons (Oskar and Louis), who are usually also climbing all over our relatively patient dog (Marley). I enjoy hiking, coffee, The Office, and am currently working on honing my Shuffleboard and Pickleball skills.
