About
I started working in the CLAS Academic Advising Center in September 2012 after working in health professions advising in the Chicago area for a few years. I love working with science, health, and sports-related majors and have been doing so for over 15 years. In addition to advising students, I also coordinate events and workshops for the CLAS Advising Center, and advise the Pre-Med Club. I grew up in the Grand Rapids area and attended Grand Valley for both my undergraduate and graduate studies (#LakerforaLifetime!). I have a B.S. in Psychology, a minor in Criminal Justice, and an M.Ed. in Adult and Higher Education with an emphasis in College Student Affairs Leadership. Outside of work, most of my time is spent with my partner, kids, and our VERY energetic mini Australian shepherd, Ella!
