Jill Ellis, DHSc, MPAS, PA-C, is an Associate Professor and Program Director of Physician Assistant Studies at Grand Valley State University. A practicing PA with over 20 years of clinical experience in hospitalist medicine and mental health, she has been with GVSU since 2012. Dr. Ellis has taught extensively across the PAS curriculum and served on multiple committees at the program, college, and university levels. She is also a published scholar in medical education and clinical care.
Professional Interests
Dr. Jill Ellis’s research focuses on physician assistant education, rural healthcare access, and behavioral health integration in primary care. She has published in areas related to clinical education and patient care, and has secured grant funding to support curriculum innovation and behavioral health training in rural and underserved communities.
