Bio
Dr. Brianna “Bree” Chesser, PT, MPT, EdD worked as a clinical physical therapist for over 15 years in a variety of settings and served as a consultant and subject matter expert before joining the GVSU faculty full-time in 2016. She is currently an Associate Professor and Associate Director of Clinical Education (DCE) in the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program. She has been recognized for her dedicated service and scholarship surrounding issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI+).

Professional Interests
Areas of interest and professional focus are on DEI+, including justice, equity, diversity, inclusion (JEDI), belonging, anti-racism, cultural humility, and social determinants of health (SDOH).
