Bio
Kara Hotaling, Au.D., CCC-A has been a licensed clinical audiologist since 1996. Dr. Hotaling has been a valuable member of the audiology community, working at GVSU since 2010, initially as an adjunct instructor and later as Senior Clinical Faculty and Clinical Education Coordinator. She significantly contributed to the development of the Au.D. program at GVSU. Dr. Hotaling has been actively engaged in audiology education and practice, bringing experiences from various parts of the county.

Professional Interests
Volunteers regularly with Special Olympics Michigan in both Healthy Athletes and Healthy Young Athletes programs. Involved in various capacities with the Michigan Audiology Coalition (e.g., Executive Board Member-at-Large, student leader meeting faculty representative, student outreach and fundraising committees).
