Kelly Machnik, OTD, OTRL, is an Assistant Professor in the Occupational Science and Therapy Department at Grand Valley State University. She practiced in adult inpatient behavioral health and has been intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Dr. Machnik teaches courses in both the traditional and hybrid programs and is the recipient of a 2019 Outstanding Teaching Award. She is the chair of the College Justice, Equity, and Action Committee and faculty advisor of the COTAD Chapter.
