Bio
Carla Floyd-Slabaugh, Dr.OT, OTRL, CBIS, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Occupational Science and Therapy at Grand Valley State University (GVSU). She is also the Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy Program Director. In 2020 she received the GVSU Pew Teaching with Technology Award. Clinical experience spans 30+ years with those across the lifespan including neurological and orthopedic conditions in various settings.

Professional Interests
Research interests are primarily related to neurological conditions, concussion, developmental vision, pediatric executive function, physical disabilities, and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.
