Dr. Alisha Davis is an Associate Professor in Allied Health Sciences. She previously served as Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs, leading the Social Justice Centers and division-wide initiatives. She has helped to advance several university initiatives. Her research focuses on health equity, implicit bias, medical racism, and leadership. She is a former NCORE National Advisory Council member and is committed to advancing equity, student success, and inclusive excellence.
Professional Interests
My professional focus is on implicit bias and microaggressions in healthcare, medical racism, health equity and disparities, global health, organizational leadership, and developing pathways that increase access, recruitment, retention, and success for historically underrepresented students in the health professions and higher education.
