Lori DeMott, OTD, OTRL, CHT, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Occupational Science and Therapy at Grand Valley State University (GVSU). She brings prior teaching experience from The Ohio State University and was honored with the 2017 Hite Award in recognition of her professional contributions to occupational therapy. Dr. DeMott earned her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Eastern Michigan University in 1981 and later completed a post-professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy.
Professional Interests
Biomechanics and function related to motor performance and to the scholarship of teaching strategies that improve student self-efficacy.
