Dr. Sarah Nechuta is an epidemiologist and population health scientist focusing on cancer epidemiology, injury epidemiology, and perinatal epidemiology scientific research, education, and service. She is an Associate Professor for the Master of Public Health program. A key passion is teaching and mentoring in applied data analysis, public health science best practices, and epidemiologic methods. She is the Editor of the Michigan Journal of Public Health (https://scholarworks.gvsu.edu/mjph/).
Professional Interests
Areas of interest for research, teaching, and professional service: applied data analysis, cancer epidemiology, breast cancer survivorship, injury epidemiology, epidemiologic methods (research and surveillance), perinatal epidemiology, interprofessional collaboration, and public health science best practices.
