Bio
I began my professional career in the clinical environment, providing diagnostic medial ultrasound services to patients in hospital and outpatient settings. I am a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in the abdominal, Ob/gyn, and vascular specialties. I have been a full time academic at GVSU since 2012, with a special interest in empowering students to be critically thinking sonographers who deliver excellent patient care with compassion and integrity.
Professional Interests
I am interested in advanced applications of diagnostic medical sonography to current and emerging specialty areas, such as musculoskeletal and pediatric imaging, with a special interest in vascular and hemodynamic applications. I am interested in predictive measures of student academic and affective success, as applicable to admissions processes.
