Kelsey Jewett, MS, OTRL, serves as the Level I Academic Fieldwork Coordinator and Visiting Professor in the Department of Occupational Science and Therapy at Grand Valley State University. She teaches in both the traditional and hybrid master’s programs. A GVSU alumna, she brings over a decade of experience in home care, specializing in older adult rehabilitation, home safety, and orthopedic, cardiopulmonary, and neurological conditions.
Professional Interests
Her research interests focus on community-based programming, home safety assessments and environmental modifications, chronic disease management and prevention, and Alzheimer’s and caregiver education. She is interested in exploring how education, advocacy, and occupational engagement can empower individuals and families to improve quality of life and promote aging in place.
