Bio
Won So, Ph.D., Au.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Grand Valley State University. He earned both a Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) and a Ph.D. in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. So currently teaches courses in Neurophysiology, Hearing Science, Hearing Conservation, and Vestibular Assessment.

Professional Interests
Dr.So focuses on binaural hearing mechanisms in both subcortical and cortical regions, using a combination of electrophysiological and behavioral methods to explore the relationship between neurophysiological function and auditory perception. He also investigates speech perception in individuals who experience listening difficulties despite having normal auditory function.
