Bio
I have served as an Assistant Professor in the Medical Laboratory Science program at Grand Valley State University since 2016 and assumed the role of Program Director in 2019. As a proud lifelong Laker, I earned both my Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science and Master of Health Science degrees from GVSU. I am deeply committed to developing strong, reflective scientists who critically evaluate laboratory data and understand the impact of their work on patient care.

Professional Interests
I enjoy collaborating on interdisciplinary research projects that incorporate a laboratory component or require clinical laboratory testing. I aim to equip students not only with technical skills, but also with confidence, integrity, and a deep sense of responsibility to the patients they serve. I am passionate about advancing the field of medical laboratory science and advocating for the visibility and value of our profession.
