Bio
Kristen Vu is an Assistant Professor and Program Director of the Graduate Medical Dosimetry Program at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, MI. She holds a BS in Radiation Therapy and an MS in Medical Dosimetry from GVSU, and a Certificate in Medical Dosimetry from MD Anderson. She earned her CMD in 2010. Before joining GVSU, she worked clinically for 6 years and currently works per diem at a local hospital to stay current.

Professional Interests
Kristen Vu’s professional focus centers on advancing medical dosimetry education through research, curriculum development, and student mentorship. Her interests include improving the transition from student to practicing dosimetrist, evaluating program impact, and integrating clinical relevance into graduate research training.
