Formerly known as the Sexual Health CoP

Purpose:

Convene professionals and other stakeholders to identify and share resources related to safety, health, advocacy, relationships, empowerment, and sexuality.

Criteria for Participation

  • Open invitation for 2026-2027 (each RCN is encouraged to have representation).
  • Currently in a role that involves information and resource gathering and/or dissemination related to sexual health, physical and emotional health, safety, and relationships that support students at the elementary and/or secondary level.
  • Willingness to actively contribute to the CoP priorities through participation in meetings and sharing ideas, resources, materials, and practices that align with best practices.

Current Priorities:

  • Gather and create resources to share through START communication platforms.
  • Expand and build on the knowledge of CoP members while developing a network to support resource access for school staff, families, and community partners.
  • Engage in learning opportunities related to safety, physical and mental health, relationships, and sexuality.
