Student Gallery Assistant

• The Student Gallery Assistant welcomes and orients guests to the gallery, maintains security procedures, tracks visitor numbers, observes general artwork care and management policies, and other duties as assigned while at gallery front desk (Social media content, cataloging, preparator and exhibition tasks, mailings) 

Collections Assistant

• The Collections Assistant helps to process artwork, research background context, inventory and clean the collection, and assist in transportation and installation of artwork.

Preparator Assistant

• The Preparator Assistant helps to complete Art Museum work orders, prepares artwork for display, and assists Museum staff with artwork installation in all University buildings.

Social Media and Learning Assistant

• The Social Media and Learning Assistant supports the social media efforts and learning-related programming of the GVSU Art Gallery such as keeping social media content accurate and up to date, generating content for various social media outlets, assisting with or running drop-in engagement activities across campus, researching and designing engagement activities, text, or promotional materials, and assisting the Learning and Outreach Manager and other Art Gallery staff in the preparation and facilitation of learning-related events and activities like exhibition receptions, workshops, and drop-in activities in the gallery.

Graphic Design Student Assistant

• The Graphic Design Student Assistant
