Welcome Parents and Families!

The Family Association works to connect parents and families of students to Grand Valley. The association involves and informs by offering events, volunteer activities, resources, and communications. We want you and your family to have a positive experience here at GVSU. We hope you will be inspired to give back in order to keep our university strong.

New Student Orientations take place from May through August. We are glad you are here and look forward to getting to know you. If you have questions about Orientation or would like to request lunch with one of our staff or volunteers to talk about getting involved as a Grand Valley Family, send us an email at familyassociation@gvsu.edu.

For returning families, volunteering at an Orientation session is unique opportunity to strengthen your relationship with Grand Valley and to share your experiences with other families. If you’re interested in volunteering, call (616) 331-5709 to learn more.
