1. For a Fresh Start in January

To help students navigate the new term, a couple minutes taken now to remove outdated event posters, signs about former office hours, and anything else that distracts from the correct Winter 2023 information around your office will be well spent. A quick online cleanup is often the occasion for realizing your latest publication hasn’t been posted, last term’s student workers are listed, your old rank is still on your profile, etc. Here’s hoping you’ll be looking good for the New Year!

2. Who Ya Gonna Call?

For the month of January, some CLAS communications mechanisms will be looked after by interim helpers until a new Director of Communications can be brought aboard.

The next issue of the CLAS Weekly Mailing will probably be on January 11 and will be produced by Mona Silva ([email protected]).

Email directed to [email protected] will be received by Betty Schaner.

Email directed to [email protected] will be received by Amorak Huey (WRT).

The interim CLAS and GV Arts webmaster will be Bridgett Vanderhoof (MTD).

News stories can be sent to Peg West (University Communications).

Questions, as always, can be appropriately directed by calling 1-2495.

Please join me in thanking these people who have been so gracious about helping us during the transition as I retire. ~Monica
