Eligibility
Students MUST also meet the criteria specified below:
- Be enrolled in (or plan to enroll in) Grand Rapids Public Schools (GRPS) Innovation Central High School or Union High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan;
- Be potential first-generation college student. This means that a participant will be the first generation in his/her family to earn a four-year college degree; and/or
- Meet the income guidelines set by the U.S. Department of Education.
Once accepted into the GVSU UB Program, students participate until their high school graduation.
