Internships
Gain real-world experience globally and build your international network by participating in an Exercise Science internship abroad.
*PLEASE NOTE: Student must register for Exercise Science 490 internship course at GVSU. Transfer credit is not accepted.
Academic Advice
- The earliest you can go abroad is the summer of your first year.
- Students may fulfill General Education Foundation and Issues requirements abroad
- If you are unable to take a major sequence course abroad in fall or winter, you can catch up on the sequence by taking summer courses or pushing your internship to the summer of your fourth year (if following a 4 year track).
- It is very possible to complete the MOV 475 fieldwork or the MOV 490 internship abroad.
- Students should be working with their faculty mentor to plan and make appropriate course selections for study abroad.
- Exercise Science students may NOT take the MOV 495 Capstone abroad.
- Pre-PT, OT, and PA students are advised to NOT take their prerequisite courses abroad.
