2026 Alumni-in-Residence: Jessi Parker & Jeff Trost

The Department of Statistics at GVSU is excited to welcome Jessi Parker and Jeff Trost back to campus as part of this year's CLAS Distinguished Alumni-in-Residence program taking place October 1st through October 2nd, 2026! Jessi and Jeff will each host a seminar, visit several different statistics courses, and be available for informal meet-and-greet time with students during their visits. These events are a great opportunity for students to network and learn firsthand about the rewarding career paths available to those with a degree in statistics.
Jessi Parker
Jeff Trost
Jessi graduated from GVSU with a B.S. in Statistics in 2011 and an M.S. in Biostatistics in 2013. She is now the Director of Biostatistics & Health Informatics at Corewell Health.
Jeff graduated from GVSU with a B.S. in Statistics in 2022 and an M.S. in Applied Statistics in 2024. He is now an Associate IT Analyst at Dow, working in CCS – CSOC Engineering.
