In the capstone STA 419 Statistics Project you work with a faculty/staff client from outside the Statistics department to analyze their research data.  Working as a statistical consultant requires you to put together what you have learned throughout your college career. The paper you write and reflect on shows prospective employers or graduate schools what you are able to accomplish.
