Equipment Checkout & Purchase
The Recreation Center and Kelly Family Sports Center offer a variety of recreational equipment for you to use during your visit.
How to Rent Equipment
Present a valid GVSU ID or Day Pass at the Member Service Desk.
Staff will scan your ID and provide the items you’d like to check out.
All equipment must be returned the same day and must remain in the facility where it was checked out.
Exception: Some items from the Kelly Family Sports Center may be used on the outdoor fields and courts.
Please note: If items are lost or damaged, replacement charges may apply.
Equipment Purchases
The Recreation Center also offers limited equipment for purchase. To buy, simply ask a staff member to help you locate the appropriate QR code for online checkout.
Reminder: GVSU is a cashless campus.

Outdoor Adventure Center Rentals
The Outdoor Adventure Center also has a variety of equipment available for rent. These include such items as kayaks, ever popular snowshoes, and a wide variety camping equipment.
