Erik Petrovskis, Director of Environmental Compliance and Sustainability for Meijer, will speak on Facilitating Environmental Sustainability at Meijer: Enriching lives in the communities we serve – addressing energy, waste, and stormwater challenges.
Erik Petrovskis has 20 years of experience as an environmental consultant and is a member of the West Michigan Sustainable Business Forum Board. At Meijer, Erik is responsible for environmental sustainability, with particular focus on storm water management. He holds a PhD in environmental engineering from The University of Michigan and is a licensed Professional Engineer.
Making Waves is a University initiative to create collaboration across campus among students, faculty, and staff, as well as with the community. The goal of the Initiative is to explore and investigate the many ways that water touches our lives, from being a life-force to defining GVSU in relation to the Grand River and Lake Michigan. gvsu.edu/makingwaves
