Abstract of Work
GVSU has over 140,000 alumni and that number continues to grow with each graduating class. Our graduates have access to the Career Center throughout their life. Due to the changing landscape of the university and job markets, we are seeing more alumni coming back to access career resources. Additionally, our adult learner population is on the rise and have unique career needs of their own. Our goal is to design on-demand services to be accessible anytime, from anywhere. After a period of assessing and benchmarking, new resources are being created to meet the needs of our diverse GVSU alumni and adult learners. Recognizing career is a university responsibility, future growth in these areas will focus on DeVos Building on our foundation and educating faculty and staff on how to use these tools with their own adult student and alumni populations.
