GVSU RCR Workshops

The Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) advisory board, in partnership with the Center for Scholarly and Creative Excellence, has implemented an RCR program to inform and support ethical and professional standards of research at GVSU. This in-person training is currently offered every other year. These workshops are provided for those who are either seeking an alternative to the online training modules or have a grant that requires face-to-face RCR training (such as certain NIH grants).

The most recent program titled "Conversations in Research Integrity and Scholarship - Increasing Scholarly Productivity and Collaboration Among Disciplines" was held on Saturday, February 24, 2018. Topics for the 2018 program included: 1) Research misconduct and research noncompliance, 2) Best practices for mentoring, 3) Conducting research in special populations, and 4) Responsible research with the greater community. Slide presentations can be found below.

The next workshop is tentatively planned for February 2020.
