On Wednesday, April 9th, faculty, students, and family members celebrated student achievements at the 2025 PSY Award Ceremony and Research Symposium. The event started by presenting student awards recognizing students' academic, research, and leadership accomplishments. Subsequently, student researchers gave 15-minute presentations on a variety of different research topics. Additional information about these presentations will be available in the upcoming spring 2025 alumni newsletter.

The Psychology Department Excellence Awards were awarded to the following individuals:

Robert Henderson Leadership Award - Arnica Sheaffer

Research Excellence – Mya Hanna

Academic Excellence – Rachel McGervey

Faculty also recognized individuals who were provided the Provost's Excellence in a Discipline Award earlier in the week:
