After leaving GVSU with a B.A. in Political Science and Spanish (2011), Morgan Taylor moved to Washington, DC, to pursue a Master’s in Public Policy from George Washington University. This was her second stint in our nation’s capital, having spent the summer between her junior and senior year interning in DC through The Washington Center. Soon after completing her Master’s degree, Morgan began working as a research analyst in areas related to diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education and higher education policy. She is currently Senior Policy Research Analyst at the American Council on Education, the membership organization for college and university presidents, known for its advocacy work on Capitol Hill for higher education and for its leadership development programs. Among her recent projects is a significant report on race and ethnicity in higher education. Congratulations, Morgan!
