Career Options
Students earning a Master of Public Health (MPH) can pursue diverse, high-demand careers in epidemiology, health policy, community health, and healthcare administration. The development of a variety of skills, opportunities to investigate a wide range of topics, and regular collaboration with public health professionals, give students the inspiration, tools, and direction to build an individualized path for success within the broad field of public health. Certifications
MPH Graduates are eligible to take the National Board of Public Health Examiners Certified in Public Health Exam (CPH) and/or the Certified Health Education Specialist Exam (CHES®), enhancing their professional credentials. Epidemiology students may also choose to earn additional credentials by taking the SAS® Certified Programming Associate exam.
