PCE's Corey Werth honored with Sustainability Champion Award

The Padnos College of Engineering's Corey Worth, has been honored with a 2026 Sustainability Champion Award.

GVSU Sustainability Champions are individuals who, by practice and belief, support the ideals of sustainable practice and using a triple bottom-line approach to problems and issues. The champions have demonstrated that they support both in word and deed, and can be looked to as leaders in sustainability.

Werth, who is a Kennedy Hall laboratory supervisor, was recognized in the faculty/staff category for his work to reduce plastic waste from the 3D printers and repurposing/finding homes for equipment and office supplies that might otherwise have gone to the landfill.
