Bike Breakdown Session 2

Monday, November 2, 2026
4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Allendale Campus
Faculty, Staff, Students

heap of bicycle frames awaiting to be recycled.

A volunteer opportunity helping OA break down the inventory of abandoned/ broken bikes. We'll break things down to save what we can for other students to use in their own repairs, recycle as much as possible, leaving minimal parts for the landfill. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in learning how to fix bikes by understanding how they come apart. The best part is it's low consequence learning (the bikes are already broken)! No experience necessary. This is a drop-in style event; Come when you're available, stay as long as you like. Any amount of time is helpful!

OA will provide light refreshments, tools, tunes, expertise.

RSVP Requested but not required due to limited space and tools.
