- TBD - State and National Registration and Payment (through Avogadro) Deadline (must be paid by this date or a late fee will be incurred) - Rules are free and available on the National Website.
January 2024
- TBD - 1st coaches digital mailing (registration, schedule, event information, etc)
- TBD - Region 12 Registration opens www.gvsu.edu/msor12/register through Avogadro.
February 2024

March 2024
- Beginning of the month - Final coaches digital mailing (final schedule, self-schedule, event notes)
- Self-scheduling opens through - TBD March, 2024
- Region 12 tournament registration deadline - TBD March, 2024
- Event Scheduling – Must be completed by TBD March, 2024. If you miss this deadline, there is no guarantee your teams will be permitted to compete.
- Team Picture for Awards Ceremony – Due TBD March, 2024 by 5 pm
- Saturday, March 23, 2024 - Region 12 Tournament
May 2024
- The 2024 State Tournament in Michigan will take place at Western Michigan University on May 4, 2024. Details will be forthcoming.
- The Science Olympiad National Tournament will be hosted by Michigan State University on May 24-25, 2024.
