Region Update
The Greater West Michigan Region Director, Ginger Rohwer, departed the MiSTEM Network on January 31, 2026, and this site is no longer active.
Background Information:
Michigan’s School Aid Budget has been the source of grant funds for the Regions and Collaboratives in the MiSTEM Network since it was created in Michigan’s 2017-2018 fiscal year (PA 108). The MiSTEM Regions and Collaboratives were not funded in Public Act 15 of 2025 (PA 15) which is Michigan's 2025-2026 School Aid Budget.

- Muskegon Area ISD's 3P team strives to support teachers in Muskegon County beyond the classroom as they implement high-quality, project-based learning experiences for their students.
- Groundswell Stewardship Initiative serves communities in Kent and Ottawa counties in West Michigan.
