Applications are evaluated on the information supplied; therefore, answer all questions as completely as possible. Incomplete applications will not be evaluated.
Selection of Recipients
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, a statement of career and educational goals and objectives, a statement of their impact on the FIRST program and any unusual personal or family circumstances. A statement from the team leader regarding the applicant’s impact on the FIRST program will also be considered. Financial need is not considered.
The selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. After the selection of finalists, no officer or employee of Robert Bosch LLC plays a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
Applicants will be notified in late-April. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.
Payment of Scholarships
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Robert Bosch LLC. The payment is made in early-August.
