Returning (former GVSU) Students - Laker Complete Program
The Center for Adult and Continuing Studies welcomes you back to GVSU! Returning to college can be challenging and some procedures may have changed since you were here before. Let us help you get the information you need. You can download our checklist or simply follow these steps:
1. Submit the Petition to return or call the Registrar's office at (616) 331-3327 and tell them you want to do a re-entry.
2. Contact the Center for Adult and Continuing Studies at (616) 331-7180 to schedule an advising appointment to discuss general academic requirements, understanding new college policies, getting re-connected to your academic department, and utilizing campus resources available to adult and nontraditional students
3. Log in to your MyBanner account and contact your academic department or advising center for an advising appointment (if you have declared a major), if you have not decided on a major or are changing majors, we will connect you to the appropriate department
4. Start exploring options for financing your education
