Creating and Submitting Your Poster

  • You must make your poster by using the GV Technology Summit Presentation Template (read the presentation file instructions before creating your poster).
  • All posters must be uploaded here no later than September 12, 2025.
  • Posters will be printed at no cost to you.
  • Event staff will place your poster on an easel in your assigned space on the morning of the Summit.
  • A small or large table can be provided for you with a linen.  Please designate if you need one on the Poster Submission Form.
  • Your poster should be technical enough to excite an expert, but not create a vortex of confusion—the idea is to start a conversation where you can go into more detail.
  • Be sure to include the goal(s) of the project—what specifically are you trying to accomplish? Other components may include:
    • Relevant information about the impetus for this work
    • Theory of change or changes introduced to reach your aim
    • What you have learned as a result of your efforts
  • Use your poster as a prop for more engaged conversation—do not include every detail of your project in the poster.

Tips for Presenting Your Poster

  • Create a poster using our official template that will serve as an introduction to your project
  • Creativity is encouraged! A poster is the minimum requirement. We encourage interactive components, demos, and other hands-on ways to engage your audience
  • Try to illustrate your efforts with at least one concrete artifact or story – bring your work to life with a specific story you could share with attendees
  • Point out opportunites and challenges in your work and seek feedback from attendees during discussions
  • Consider a short verbal pitch for attendees who wish to visit many presenters and posters
  • Following the event, please take your poster with you as well as any supplies, information or linens you brought with you.

Additional Details

Each presenter will have an easel for displaying their poster. If you need a table with linen or other support items, please note this on the Poster Submission Form.

Be sure to let your colleagues know you are presenting at the Summit and encourage them to register for free
