GVSU Reaffirms Policy Protections for LGBTQ Community

Grand Valley strongly reaffirms our commitment to protecting people of all social identities from harassment and discrimination, as expressed in university policies: www.gvsu.edu/policies. It is a violation of university policy to harass or discriminate against people on the basis of sex or gender. The university takes any form of harassment or discrimination seriously and will continue to apply these protections to all university protected identities through our Equity, Policy, and Compliance unit. Any adverse treatment based on sex, which is understood to include gender, gender expression, and gender identity, should be reported to the Title IX Office, and support is available to all members of our community at the Milton E. Ford LGBT Resource Center.
