What is the Department of Integrated Engineering?

Department of Integrated Engineering logo

GVSU’s Department of Integrated Engineering is the collaborative home for people, programs, and projects that span multiple engineering disciplines and incorporate engineering with other fields. The department unites Interdisciplinary Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, and Occupational Safety & Health. This department also oversees the first‑year program, engineering co‑op, and senior capstone projects—helping every engineering student develop real‑world skills from day one through graduation. We are forging a hands‑on, team‑based approach to engineering education that prepares our graduates for success in today’s complex world.
