How do I join a group?
Simply register on Sprout. www.gvsu.edu/sprout. Each facilitator manages a listserv. To get on a listserv email salazael@gvsu.edu with the subject line naming the group you are interested in.

How do I start my own Community of Support?
If you are interested in facilitating a community of support, work life would love to hear from you.  Please email salazael@gvsu.edu with the subject line: COS

Young Professionals in Higher Education

Young Professionals in Higher Education

This group is designed to support and connect those who share the goal of developing a successful and satisfying career in higher education.

Lean In Circle

Lean In Circle

Grand Valley Lean In Circle meets monthly and is open to all faculty and staff and community members. Based on the book by Sheryl Sandberg, Lean In Circles are small groups who meet regularly to learn and grow together and discuss topics related to career success. Attendees show up authentically and promote dialogue about issues and opportunities related to helping all women reach their full potential. Meetings are held once a month on Fridays at either the Pew or Allendale campuses, beginning at 1 p.m. and run for 90 minutes. 

Positive Organizations

Positive Organizations is a group of individuals from all GVSU employee groups who share and implement the best practices of positive organizations.  The group uses an online platform for ongoing communication and meets quarterly for face-to-face discussions and presentations.
