Hauenstein Center for Presidential Studies

Each student in the Cook Leadership Academy is paired with a community mentor for the academic year to help build their skills, perspective, and network. The CLA Fellow and mentor work as a team, helping each student tap their potential and think about ways they can improve their leadership skills to best reach their personal and professional goals. 

Mentors come from many sectors of the community including non-profit, business, and public backgrounds. Students and mentors meet four to six times over the course of the academic year at a mutually agreeable time and location.
